Ayet is a mobile app offered under BA Apps, an independent developer brand. By using the app, you accept the following terms.

1. About the app

Ayet lets you explore verses of the Quran and selected passages with visuals, Arabic recitation and translations in different languages. It offers a scrolling verse feed, surah selection, saving verses and customizable listening options. An internet connection is required to access content and play audio.

2. Content and translations

The translations in Ayet aim to convey the meanings of the verses of the Quran clearly in different languages. Translations may contain differences of language and interpretation; no translation replaces the Arabic text of the Quran word for word. We recommend that you do not treat the content as a religious ruling or personal advice, and that you consult reliable sources and qualified people on important matters.

The Arabic recitation recordings come from MP3Quran.net. You can find source and usage information here.

3. Using the app

You may use Ayet for personal and lawful purposes. The app's design, software and original presentation elements may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Rights to third-party content belong to their respective owners. These terms do not imply any claim of ownership over the Arabic original of the Quran.

4. Ads

Ayet may show ads to help sustain the service. The type of ads and their placement in the app may change from time to time. Products or services promoted in ads should not be regarded as recommended or endorsed by BA Apps unless clearly stated otherwise.

5. Providing the service

We may update features and the presentation of content to improve the app. Temporary interruptions may occur due to the internet connection, maintenance or technical reasons. We do not guarantee that content will always be available without interruption or entirely free of errors.

6. Liability

Ayet offers a content experience that makes it easier to explore verses of the Quran and reflect on their meanings. The explanations and translations in the app do not replace expert opinion or official religious guidance. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for indirect losses arising from the use of the app is limited. Consumer rights that cannot be limited by law are reserved.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms in line with changes to the app. The current text is always published on this page.
